A real run

What the notes look like

The summary and one note from a real run, word for word.

turquoiseatish, enamour

Overall summary

This track establishes a solid house groove with well-chosen sounds, but its potential is held back by a repetitive structure and a lack of dynamic evolution. The key to elevating it lies in creating more distinct sections, building greater tension before the drops, and introducing more variation in the arrangement to keep the listener engaged throughout its six-minute runtime.
  • 1:32critical

Main drop section begins with the introduction of a new lead synth melody.

This is the core hook, but it enters without much warning. Precede this moment with a more dramatic build-up. At 01:30, try a 2-beat snare roll and a reverse cymbal that crescendos right into the first note of this melody to maximize impact.

What you get

  • What's working

The parts that land, so you know what to keep.

  • What isn't

Where the song drags, repeats or loses energy, each pinned to a moment in the track.

  • What to fix next

Something specific to try at that moment, like a snare roll before the drop.

  • Measurements

A full diagnostic of your mix, charted against a reference track. Stem levels, low-end masking, spectrograms and more.

A note on genre

Measurements compare your mix with a reference track from a catalog of released electronic music. If your song is in another genre, that comparison may not fit. Creative Feedback listens to the song itself and doesn't use a reference. You can also pick your own reference track.

Questions

Which Suno download should I upload?
MP3 or WAV. MP3 is on every Suno plan, in the app and on the web. WAV needs Pro or Premier. M4A and MP4 Video won't upload. In the Suno app, M4A is the first option, and MP3 is right below it.
Does it use one of my Suno downloads?
Yes. Suno counts each song you download toward your plan's download limit. Downloading the same song again, or in another format, doesn't count twice.
Do I need a DAW to use the notes?
No. Each note names a moment and something to try there. How you make the change is up to you, in Suno or anywhere else.
