About Slapback
Slapback is a music feedback platform that pairs AI analysis with real humanperspective. It gives you specific actionable notes on your production. Not “sounds good.”
Slapback's principles
AI alone is not enough
AI hears the technical. Humans hear the emotional. Only humans can evaluate whether music moves people. That's why Slapback pairs AI analysis with real human feedback. AI gets you unblocked. Humans tell you the truth.
Humans make the art
Slapback doesn't make your music for you. We don't generate audio, write melodies, or touch your project files. Art without human involvement leads to a world none of us want to live in. We give you feedback, perspective, and momentum. The creative decisions are always yours.
Meet the team
We're producers and engineers building the feedback tools we always wished we had.

Atish Mehta
Atish spent a decade as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, including five years at Facebook, then spent the next decade as a full-time touring artist and producer. He runs a record label and a mentorship program for emerging producers. He built Slapback to solve a problem he saw from every angle: producers need honest, expert feedback and it's almost impossible to find.

Alex Kremer
Alex is a serial entrepreneur with multiple exits across the travel and music industries. As a co-founder of one of the music industry’s first online fan club platforms, he’s had a lifetime passion in helping artists better connect with their fans and succeed in making a living off their art. His background at the intersection of music and technology — combined with experience building products from zero to scale — makes him a natural fit for Slapback’s mission of giving every producer access to better feedback.

Christoph Huebler
Chris (artist name Nhii) is a mixdown engineer, music producer, artist mentor, and an experienced figure in electronic music. He holds a Bachelor of Recording Arts and runs the Sounds of Khemit label. At Slapback, he works on pushing the quality of our AI analysis forward, finding the edge of what's possible.

Joseph Toronto
With a varied technical background, Joseph’s path to software was anything but linear — and he thinks that’s shaped how he thinks about problems. A lifelong music lover and DJ, he joined Slapback to work on things he genuinely cares about. At Slapback, he’s part of the engineering team, working across the stack to help make better feedback more accessible to producers everywhere.
