Is my song ready?
Is my song ready to release?
That call is yours. Slapback gives you a second opinion first.
AI listens to the whole song and tells you what's working, what isn't and what to fix before release day, with each note pinned to a moment. You also get measurements of your mix.

What you get
What's working
The parts that land, so you know what to keep.
What isn't
Where the song drags, repeats or loses energy, each pinned to a moment in the track.
What to fix next
Something specific to try at that moment, like a snare roll before the drop.
Measurements
A full diagnostic of your mix, charted against a reference track. Stem levels, low-end masking, spectrograms and more.
A real run
The kind of thing it catches
Two notes from a real run, word for word.
- 3:05critical
A long, low-energy ambient section begins, centered on a new arpeggiated synth.
This section is very long and risks losing the listener's attention on the dancefloor. Condense this idea from ~30 seconds to 8 or 16 bars. Alternatively, make it more active by introducing a heavily filtered version of the main kick pattern underneath the arp to maintain a subliminal pulse.
- 3:42critical
The second main drop hits, reintroducing the full beat and lead synth.
This drop feels almost identical to the one at 01:32. To elevate it, add a new harmonic layer. A high-octave string pad playing long, sustained notes that follow the chord progression would add a sense of scale and make this drop feel bigger than the first.

A note on genre
Measurements compare your mix with a reference track from a catalog of released electronic music. If your song is in another genre, that comparison may not fit. Creative Feedback listens to the song itself and doesn't use a reference. You can also pick your own reference track.
Questions
- Will it say yes or no?
- No. It answers “Banger?” with what's working, what isn't and what would take the song further. You can type your own question instead, like “Is it ready to release?”
- Does it check the mix, too?
- Measurements chart your mix against a reference track. For a written mix report, your first Engineering Feedback run is free as well. It measures your mix against a released electronic track and tells you what to work on next.
- What if I change the song after the notes?
- Upload it as a new version of the same track. Your free run covers one Creative Feedback run. Pro is $16.99/month for unlimited feedback. Cancel anytime.
